HOURS WORKED: Varies, 9:00 A to 5:00 P Monday - Saturday

REPORTS TO: Program Director

STARTING PAY: $18.00 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: Overseeing all aspects of an online store on the eBay platform including product sourcing, listing creation, inventory management, pricing optimization, customer service, sales analysis, marketing strategies and maintaining a positive seller reputation, aiming to maximize sales and profitability while adhering to eBay practices and policies. Manager will also oversee listing specialists and warehouse staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Product Sourcing and Listing Creation:
    • Identify profitable products to sell on eBay based on market research and trends analysis.
    • Source products from suppliers, negotiate pricing, and manage inventory levels.
    • Create compelling product listings with detailed descriptions, high-quality images, and relevant keywords to optimize search visibility.
    • Regularly update and revise listings to maintain accuracy and appeal.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor stock levels and manage inventory rotation to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
    • Implement inventory tracking systems to ensure accurate product counts.
    • Coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment of stock.
    • Analyze market data to set competitive pricing strategies.
    • Implement dynamic pricing mechanisms based on demand and sales trends.
    • Run promotions and sales to boost sales and clear out old inventory.
  • Customer Service:
    • Promptly respond to customer inquiries, address concerns, and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Manage customer feedback and ratings to maintain a positive seller reputation.
    • Process orders accurately and ensure timely shipping.
  • Sales Analysis and Reporting:
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments to sales strategies.
    • Generate regular sales reports for stakeholders.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase store visibility and attract new customers.
    • Utilize eBay marketing tools like promoted listings and store promotions.
    • Leverage social media platforms to promote products and engage with potential buyers.
  • Compliance and Account Management:
    • Stay updated on eBay policies and guidelines to ensure compliance.
    • Manage account health by addressing any potential issues with eBay customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in retail management (1+ years) preferred.
  • Have some understanding of the value and condition of second-hand goods.
  • Familiarity with different product categories.
  • Ability to assess the market value of used items.
  • General experience with platforms like eBay or Amazon.
  • General knowledge of shipping processes, costs, and options.
  • Skills in photographing items to highlight their features and condition.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A proven ability to effectively function in a multi-faceted agency in a teamwork manner.
  • Have personal attitude, conduct and standards representing those qualities and values reflected in the ministry that employees, volunteers and recovery clients can respect and emulate.
  • Successfully pass a background check.
  • Be able to respect and work cooperatively with a variety of persons, including coworkers.
  • Able to work well with ever-changing priorities and/or situations. Have the ability to stay calm in tense situations and utilize common sense and logic.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prefer a high school diploma or equivalency diploma.
  • Successfully pass FBI fingerprint clearance check and procure a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Successful clearance of criminal background check(s), Central Registry in Arizona and any state(s) lived in within 5 years of hire in accordance of Title 21.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Personally grow in leadership and spiritual life.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Upholds attendance and performance standards.
  • Must adhere to Company dress code and appearance policy.
  • Cognizant of monthly sales goals. Uses goals to encourage sales on a daily basis.
  • Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, tact and sound judgment.
  • Able to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
  • Must pass mandatory drug screen. Miracle Center is a drug-free workplace and requires drug screening to all new employees as well as random screening to ensure enforcement of this policy.
  • Be able to perform various physical tasks.
