Job summary

Keller is seeking a Construction Superintendent in Salisbury, MD to plan, direct, and oversee daily on-site construction activities, coordinating with project managers and trade subcontractors. Responsibilities include maintaining project schedules, monitoring quality and safety, managing field crews, tracking materials, preparing daily reports, and ensuring compliance with contract documents.

The role demands strong leadership and hands-on coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in the commercial construction industry preferably in K-12 construction.
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completion.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and scheduling of Trade / Subcontractors; material/equipment deliveries, and the progress of the Project.
• Ensuring compliance of work with the contract documents, Trade / Subcontractor Scope of Work, project schedules, and specifications.
• Maximizing production, eliminating disruptions, and avoiding downtime.
• Comprehending all scopes of work, and aid in dispute resolution.
• Track field time, equipment, and materials relative to changes in work.
• Implementing and enforcing all pertinent safety and quality control policies and procedures.
• Providing input on new and innovative ways to approach the needs of the company.
• Aiding in business development and client relations by keeping the Project clean, safe and organized.
• Understanding client needs and achieve an acceptable level of satisfaction.
