Job summary

Casambi is seeking a Regional Sales Director to drive growth across the Eastern half of North America. You’ll lead regional strategies, cultivate agent and partner relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate company strategy into regional plans and expanded market coverage.

The role requires building a robust pipeline, optimizing forecasts, and guiding two to three regional sales managers as the region grows. Frequent travel and remote work are part of the job profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least seven years of progressive experience in lighting, lighting controls, electrical supply, electrical design, or closely related industry.
• Proven outside‑sales success across agency, specification, distribution, contractor, or OEM channels.
• Demonstrated ability to build territory plans, manage a sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and use performance data to improve results.
• Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, written communication, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft 365; HubSpot experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and passport with ability to travel frequently throughout the territory and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with revenue and market-development objectives.
• Establish annual and quarterly sales plans with partners, define measurable goals, and report progress.
• Review dashboards, CRM data, and forecasts to drive accountability and decision making.
• Maintain and expand relationships with agents, specifiers, distributors, contractors, and other partners.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop new agents in unrepresented or underperforming markets.
• Support agents and customers through joint sales calls, design discussions, and on-site visits.
• Deliver education, product training, and market-facing presentations to build confidence in Casambi’s solutions.
• Identify opportunities from specification through order and coordinate internal resources to clear barriers.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to provide insights to cross-functional teams.
• Represent Casambi at trade shows, partner meetings, and professional associations.
