Job summary

CPG is seeking a Senior Safety Manager III in Ashburn, VA to lead EHS programs across the Eastern Region. The role requires 7+ years in EHS within the construction sector, with data center safety experience and strong regulatory knowledge. Travel will be 25–40% to support projects and clients.

The ideal candidate will supervise others, develop policies, and coordinate incident investigations while aligning with company safety goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, CM, or Engineering.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in the construction industry.
• 3 years managing other professionals at a senior level.
• Data center construction or service experience (battery replacement, Switchgear, HVAC).
• Experience remotely developing and managing safety personnel and projects.
• OSHA regulations/standards and NFPA 70E knowledge.
• Environmental compliance experience is a plus.
• Client-facing experience and strong communication skills.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety processes and procedures with strong leadership.
• Design and implement EHS policies compliant with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Advise safety director on compliance concerns and preventative actions.
• Manage safety surveys, inspections, follow-ups and incident investigations.
• Develop and manage risk management applications and training programs.
• Lead in the creation of MOPs, SOPs, and other technical reports.
• Travel to regions and projects 25–40% as needed.
