Solaris Bus & Coach is seeking a technically strong and commercially driven Technical Salesperson to support expansion in the US transit market. This hybrid role combines technical sales, tender leadership, and early project support, enabling you to shape opportunities and lead selected tenders end-to-end.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3–8 years of experience in technical sales or product engineering. Salary ranges from $110,000 to $185,000 annually based on location and experience.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years in technical sales, application engineering, or product engineering experience required.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills necessary.
• Solid understanding of vehicle systems, such as electric drivetrains and batteries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support direct customer interactions with transit agencies.
• Conduct product presentations, product demonstrations, and specifications discussions.
• Act as Tender Captain for selected opportunities, owning bid success end-to-end.
