Job summary

Vinfast is seeking Field Technical Support Engineers (FTSEs) to provide on-site vehicle systems support to service centers along the East Coast, including diagnostics, repairs, and training.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving, with travel 30‑70% and a focus on EV powertrain, ADAS, CAN diagnostics using Vector Canoe/VFlash.

Qualifications

• Technical automotive background as a high level Service Technician.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of working with Electric Vehicles is a plus.
• Analytical ability to understand and impact KPIs.
• Problem solving initiative to fix problems and understand root causes.
• Proven ability to lead by example and innovate with processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle diagnosis requests in a structured and timely manner.
• Maintain close working relationships with Service center managers and technicians in the region.
• Provide knowledge of Powertrain, High Voltage EV systems or ADAS.
• Conduct ad-hoc in-Service Center product training sessions.
• Take ownership of Service Technician concerns and resolve issues.
• Address technician problems via phone or at service center location.
• Report on service center quality relative to readiness.
• Travel as needed (typical travel: 30–70% covering the East Coast).
