Job summary

Linical, a global CRO, seeks a Director, Business Development to drive growth across the East Coast US region. You’ll lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting through contract award—while building and maintaining strategic client partnerships with biotech and pharma clients.

This high-visibility role reports to the President/CCO and offers a commission plan and comprehensive benefits. Travel as required and collaboration with Operations, Proposals, and Executive teams are essential to win

Qualifications

• Extensive demonstratable business development or sales experience within a CRO environment.
• Proven success securing clinical research opportunities.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Win new business and grow strategic client partnerships.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract award.
• Deliver capability presentations, proposals, and bid defenses.
• Collaborate with Operations, Proposals, and Executive Leadership teams.
• Represent Linical at industry conferences and networking events.
• Achieve ambitious sales targets while supporting long-term business growth.
