Job summary

Smith Lawnscapes LLC in Michigan is seeking a dependable Earthworks Crew Member to join our family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance team. You will perform site prep, grading, and excavation while operating skid steers, mini excavators, and compactors.

Qualifications

Must be able to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather.
Experience in construction, landscaping, drainage, or earthwork preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform site preparation including grading, leveling, and excavation.
Assist with drainage systems, base materials, and site layouts.
Operate landscape & construction equipment safely (skid steers, mini excavators, compactors).
Follow job plans, safety procedures & quality standards.
Keep jobsites clean and organized.
Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently.
