Job summary

A.L. Grading, a long-standing site solutions expert serving the Atlanta area, seeks an Estimator to join the team in Sugar Hill, GA. This full-time, on-site role focuses on earthwork, grading, and related site development cost estimates.

You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, solicit subcontractor quotes, develop bid proposals, and coordinate pricing with project managers. Travel to project locations may be required to verify conditions and costs.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or civil sitework estimating.
• Proficient in quantity takeoffs, cost analysis and bid preparation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and site plans.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to prepare detailed estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Develop bid proposals and coordinate pricing with PMs and leadership.
• Visit job sites to verify field conditions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
