Job summary

ImpactLife is seeking Processing Laboratory Bench Techs to ensure delivery of quality blood products by testing samples and performing quality control testing. This is a full-time role on the 3rd shift with every other weekend and on-call responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork skills, and may hold a Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical science. MT/MLS certification (ASCP preferred) or MLT is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical science desired or higher.
• MT/MLS certification (ASCP preferred) or MLT required/desired.

Responsibilities

• Test blood samples and perform quality control testing to ensure quality blood products.
• Work third shift with every other weekend and on-call responsibilities.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and maintain safety/compliance standards.

Our Processing Laboratory Bench Techs work to ensure the delivery of quality blood products to the communities we serve by testing blood samples and performing quality control testing.

This is a Full Time position working 3rd shift with every other weekend, and on call.

• Very detail oriented with great accuracy.
• Great communication skills, and a team player.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical science highly desired; MT/MLS certification (with ASCP preferred), or MLT.
• The ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift up-to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
