Job summary

ImpactLife is seeking Lab Assistants to prepare blood donor samples for testing, perform quality control testing, and support Bench Techs to ensure the right product goes to the right patient.

Responsibilities include preparing components, releasing and labeling products, and preparing items for shipping. This 30+ position operates on a 3rd shift with every-other-Saturday and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required; previous work in the medical field is preferred.
• Associate’s Degree or Medical Assistant Degree is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Our Processing Laboratory Lab Assistants prepare blood donor samples for testing, perform quality control testing and provide support to the Bench Techs to help ensure the right product gets to the right patient. This is a 30+ position working 3rd shift every other Saturday and Holiday rotation.
