Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional SEN Primary School in Brentwood. The role starts ASAP and offers a long-term contract, Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 03:45 pm, supporting pupils with special educational needs and providing tailored assistance to help every child thrive.

You will work closely with teachers to implement IEPs, monitor progress, and foster an inclusive, caring classroom environment that enables holistic development and high-quality

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
  • Empathy and patience in supporting learners.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
  • Qualifications or training in special education are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in development and implementation of IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to maintain an inclusive classroom.
  • Support holistic development of social, emotional, and academic skills.
