The Early Years Alliance is seeking a Learning and Disabilities Practitioner to support children aged 0-5 with disabilities or complex health needs, providing short breaks to families across Lincolnshire.

This part-time, fixed-term role (12 hours/week) runs until 31 March 2028. You will plan and facilitate high-quality sessions in Best Start centres, collaborate with a small team, and access ongoing training to support professional development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent required.
• Understanding and knowledge of meeting individual needs of disabled/complex health needs children.
• Proven communication skills both in writing and verbally with professionals and families.
• Experience working as part of an integrated team with social care, early help and educational partners.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate high-quality Early Support and Learning provision for birth to 5 years in Best Start centres.
• Plan and run sessions with activities that promote confidence and independence, safe and welcoming.
• Assess and track progress of children against EHCP where applicable using tools like Tapestry/Outcome Wheels.
• Support parents to access Local Offer, promote peer groups and mutual support networks.
