Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant – Early Talent to build pipelines and launch careers. You’ll lead university recruiting, coordinate the Internship Program, and partner with hiring managers to forecast talent needs.

Based at UMB’s Kansas City, MO headquarters with a hybrid schedule, you will engage colleges, attend career events, and drive inclusive outreach to attract diverse students and emerging professionals.

Qualifications

• You have five or more years of experience consulting with hiring managers, leading full-cycle recruitment, early talent programs, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating or attending career fairs, campus events, networking events, or other hiring programs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Build early talent pipelines and recruit for internships and development programs.
• Coordinate UMB’s Internship Program and related early talent initiatives across the business.
• Develop recruiting strategies and outreach to colleges, universities, and workforce programs.
• Represent UMB at career fairs, campus events, and other hiring events.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and anticipate talent requirements.
• Source, assess, and present qualified candidates to hiring teams and move candidates through the process.
