Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant – Early Talent to build robust early talent pipelines and manage internship programs from its Kansas City headquarters. You will coordinate university recruiting, partner with business leaders, and connect students and emerging professionals with opportunities at UMB.

You will lead recruitment strategy, campus engagement, and cross-functional projects while ensuring an inclusive candidate experience and a strong employer brand in the market.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience consulting with hiring managers, leading full-cycle recruitment, early talent programs, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating or attending career fairs, campus events, networking events, or other hiring programs.
• Proactive and confident communicator who can independently manage recruiting priorities across multiple departments.
• Highly organized and comfortable leading cross-functional projects with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Build early talent pipelines for internships, development programs, and other opportunities.
• Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and anticipate talent requirements.
• Source and engage active and passive candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, ATS, and other tools.
• Coordinate UMB’s Internship Program and other early talent programs across the business.
