Job summary

Easterseals Florida is recruiting a Service Coordinator for the Treasure Coast Early Steps program in West Palm Beach to support families of children birth through 3 with developmental delays. Services occur in homes, daycare, playgrounds, and other community settings.

The role involves being the single point of contact, locating funding sources, and delivering parent-education programs that provide caregivers with practical strategies aligned to family needs during daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields with transcripts and diploma required.
• One year hands-on experience with young children and families in teaching, case management, or counseling role or with individuals with disabilities.
• Bachelor's degrees in other fields require a minimum of 3 years of experience in case management, teaching or counseling with children with disabilities.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English, Creole/Englis) a plus.
• Ability to meet approved driver qualifications to drive personal vehicle for program needs (min age 21, good driving history).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact in assisting families in gaining access to services in the community.
• Obtain information on funding sources to help meet children's needs.
• Provide parent education, evidence-based program giving strategies to caregivers based on family needs during daily activities.

Skills

Experience with young children and/or;

Bilingual Spanish/English or Creole/En

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, social work, health education, interdisciplinary sociology, early childhood, child development or special ed
