Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in Durham, NC is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to prepare orders for shipment and manage receiving, storage, and distribution of deliveries. You will pick customer orders, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with food safety procedures, while supporting inventory control and paperwork as required.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, labeling, stocking, and ensuring proper shipping documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or international equivalent.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and use pallet jack.
• Receive in and label product; store and stock items properly.
• Prepare orders for shipment per pick-ticket with accuracy.
• Operate and inspect material handling equipment safely.
• Verify inbound shipments and quantities; sign bills of lading and note discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized work area; follow safety rules; perform overtime as needed.
