Job summary

IPG Photonics in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Small Piece Assembler to build components and sub-assemblies for high-powered lasers following set procedures. You will work with microscopes and tweezers, ensuring precision in a clean-room environment, with on-the-job training provided.

Hours are 5:00 am to 1:30 pm with weekly overtime and occasional Saturdays; must maintain good attendance and follow detailed work instructions while using basic PCs and Microsoft Windows.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills and be able to follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work overtime.
• Must be present and on time for work as scheduled.
• Be able to work carefully and identify errors.
• Familiarity with PCs and Microsoft Windows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and inspect components; follow procedures and instructions.
• Arm-hand steadiness with hand-eye coordination.
• Work with very small fragile parts in a clean room environment.
