Job summary

IPG Photonics is seeking an Assembler I for the 2nd shift in Oxford, Massachusetts. The role involves assembling, inspecting and aligning components for high-powered lasers using microscopes and tweezers. On-the-job training is provided to help you thrive in a clean room environment.

You must have good communication, be reliable, and able to work overtime. The position requires hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle very small parts with care.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills and be able to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime are essential functions of this job.
• Must be present and on time for work as scheduled.
• Be able to work carefully, consistently and be able to identify errors.
• Familiarity with PCs and Microsoft Windows, a plus but no required.
• H.S Diploma or equivalent required.

Our Small Piece Assemblers continually work with their hands and deal with small details. With the assistance of microscopes and tweezers, build components and sub-assemblies for high-powered lasers following a set routine with specific procedures and instructions. IPG Photonics offers on-the-job training to ensure you will thrive.
