Job summary

Felton Institute in San Mateo seeks a Clinical Care Manager I for the (re)MIND program. The role coordinates participant care within a multidisciplinary team and with community partners, guiding goals and delivering interventions targeting psychosis and mood disorders.

The position is temporary (Aug 3–Sept 19, 2026) and requires office and community-based work. Responsibilities include assessments, collaborative care planning, evidence-based treatments, outreach, and strict documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy (or related field).
• Licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences preferred or registered.
• Two years of experience providing mental health services to youth or young adults with serious mental health challenges.
• Direct service experience in an early psychosis program preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and typing 45 WPM.
• Valid California Driver's License with an excellent driving record.
• Bilingual/Bicultural; fluent in Spanish or threshold Asian languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with assigned participants and families in the community and office.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans with participants and parents.
• Provide evidence-based treatment interventions (CBT, family psycho-education, etc.).
• Assist participants with accessing services (medical, benefits, housing, etc.).
• Collaborate with community providers and make referrals to other agencies.
• Maintain clinical records within 24 hours of contact in compliance with standards.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to case conferences with updates.
• Attend trainings to maintain competency in evidence-based practices.
• Engage in outreach events to educate about early intervention for psychosis.
• Occasional evenings and weekends; perform administrative tasks and intake calls.
