Job summary

Parexel Baltimore Unit seeks an experienced registered nurse to support early phase clinical operations. You will ensure patient safety, manage lab and medical testing, and assist physicians in study procedures.

The role requires active Maryland RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS eligibility within 6 months. The position offers 12-hour day shifts, potential weekend coverage, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working in a hospital or clinical setting.
• BSN preferred or relevant work experience.
• Active Registered Nurse License in Maryland.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Support SOPs, GCP, and processes for efficient clinical operation of EPCU.
• Assume responsibility for patient care and study conduct assignments.
• Ensure all study labs and medical tests are completed and eligibility criteria are met.
• Meet established timelines for responsibilities and projects.
• Participate in identifying and enrolling study participants and support study objectives.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report patient conditions and reactions to treatments.
• Collect and prepare data, enter data into case report forms and databases.
• Assist physicians with flow sheets and update the Clinical Study File.
• Phlebotomy, urine collection, sample prep, storage and shipment, drug dispensing.
• Act as participant advocate in clinical studies.
