Job summary

Parexel Early Phase Clinical Unit in Maryland seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to support patient care and study conduct in early-phase trials. You will ensure compliance with SOPs and GCP, manage lab work, data entry, and participant advocacy in a fast-paced environment.

Training spans two weeks, followed by 12-hour day shifts with occasional longer shifts and some weekend work. Base pay is hourly, with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits described by Parexel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a hospital or clinical setting.
• RN license valid in Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Support SOPs, GCP, and work processes for EPCU operations.
• Take responsibility for patient care and study conduct assignments.
• Ensure labs and tests are completed and eligibility criteria are met.
• Meet study timelines and assist enrollment of participants.
• Monitor and report patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Collect data and enter into case report forms and databases.
• Assist with phlebotomy, sample handling, and drug dispensing.
• Advocate for participants in clinical studies.

Skills

2+ years hospital experience

Active RN license

Education

BSN preferred or relevant work experience

RN license in MD

BLS certification

ACLS certification within 6 months
