Qualifications

• No education required beyond a valid driver's license and safety training.
• No specific degree required; emphasis on reliability and safety.
• Experience in package handling or yard switching preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Performs trailer switches defined as hooking and moving a parked trailer from yard to door or vice versa.
• Coordinates trailer movements with management to optimize yard flow.
• Documents trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Loads and unloads packages as needed and assists with sorting.
• May work in hot/cold temperatures and noisy environments.
