Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to discern numbers and information to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic handling tools and equipment such as scanners and dock carts.

Responsibilities

• Move and switch trailers between yard and doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management and central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Load and unload packages as needed and assist with sorting.
