Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Store Associate at the S.ANT-SAN ANTONIO/LA CANTERA PKWY location.

Deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. Responsibilities include supporting omni-channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store, stocking and planogram duties, and participating in truck unloads and stock recovery to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

Qualifications

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Handle checkout with accuracy and efficiency.
• Educate customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards programs and enrollments.
• Assist customers with the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery, returns/go back, and in-stock conditions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the VOC survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and store in-stock maintenance, including returns/go backs.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; maintain professional conduct.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
