General Purpose

The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining a clean work area, proper merchandise presentation, and performing various store functions as needed.

Essential Functions

• Prioritize safety and practice safe behaviors.
• Create a safe shopping environment by maintaining awareness and clearing exits.
• Greet and assist customers courteously and knowledgeably.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and issues.
• Support the company brand and perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Ensure store is organized, merchandise is replenished, and standards are met.
• Handle merchandise receipts and loss prevention standards.
• Follow policies on transactions and cash handling.
• Maximize productivity and efficiency in store tasks.

Qualifications And Skills

Physical Requirements

• Use of store equipment and standing for extended periods.

• Work in stockroom shifts involving pushing, pulling, and lifting over 20 pounds.
