Job summary

Michaels is looking for a friendly store associate in Chattanooga to assist customers, maintain merchandise, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will help customers find products, enroll them in rewards, and participate in omni-channel processes to support Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

The role involves stocking, merchandising, and following SOPs while delivering excellent service in a climate-controlled retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Comfort with cash handling and basic POS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast checkout experience and accurate cash handling.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) activities.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and perform merchandise recovery and returns processes.
• Support safety, shrink, and SOP adherence across store operations.
