Job summary

Metal Finishing Technologies, LLC is seeking a Production Operator for Bristol, CT. This full-time role supports the Tooling Department with parts cleaning, packing and daily delivery responsibilities, with comprehensive on-the-job training.

Hours are 3:30 am - 11:00 am, Monday through Friday, with alternating weekend shifts and potential double time on Sundays. A DOT physical is required to drive for this job.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a current driver’s license in good standing.
• Must be comfortable making daily deliveries.
• Must be flexible to working variable hours, including holidays and weekend rotations.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a frequent basis.
• Must pass DOT Physical and Pre-employment drug screen.
• Experience operating a 16ft and/or 22ft box truck preferred.
• Manufacturing/Industrial experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Strip and clean parts, including acid baths and grit blasting according to client instructions.
• Pack and transport finished product to clients.
• Pick up parts for service based on client requests.
• Refill tanks as needed.
• Monitor equipment condition and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork thoroughly.
• Ensure parts are processed per work orders.
• Maintain paperwork and log books.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Understand and conform to MFT/Customer/QC standards.
• Provide safe working environment by handling chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned.
