Job summary

Beehive Meals is seeking a part-time Procurement Team Member to support production by managing raw material inventory and supplying ingredients daily. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, FIFO practices, and collaboration with the production team to forecast needs.

Responsibilities include updating records, resolving order discrepancies, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. The shift runs Monday through Friday, with early morning hours to align with production schedules.

Qualifications

• At least six months of experience in inventory, receiving, warehouse, food production, procurement support, or a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Placement and Inventory Operations: Maintain and update raw material inventory to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Placement and Inventory Operations: Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders and deliveries.
• Placement and Inventory Operations: Update procurement-related data and maintain records of purchases.
• Quality Control: Put away food orders and rotate ingredients to product quality (first-in/first-out).
• Quality Control: Report any deviations or issues promptly to the production supervisor.
• Sanitization and Cleanliness: Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies.
