Job summary

UPS in the United States is seeking a proactive supervisor for the Preload shift (3:30 AM to 9:00 AM). This role trains and supervises Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and job-related tasks.

You will lead teams, ensure attendance, and oversee timecard submissions while coordinating with management on evaluations and issue resolution. The job requires lifting up to 70 lbs and flexible hours in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Flexible shift availability up to 5 days per week.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Understands and consistently demonstrates UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct.
