Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a warehouse associate to operate equipment safely for moving packages and heavy freight. You will assist pallet buildup and breakdown, and liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum education and experience are not required; successful candidates must pass a drug screen and background check and have a valid driver’s license. Early morning Tue-Sat shift offered with a base pay of $17.89/hr plus a $3 premium.

Qualifications

• Lifts up to 50 lbs from ground to chest level with assistance if over 50 lbs.
• Walk and stand for designated hours; bend, squat and reach above shoulder level.
• Navigate enclosed spaces and stack packages as required.
• Work in all weather conditions at the location.
• Climb stairs and ladders as needed; complete basic and recurring training.
• Communicate clearly in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages and heavy freight.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
