Job summary

Sylvania in Michigan is seeking a diligent kitchen assistant to support daily meal service. You will follow provided recipes, prep ingredients, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

You will maintain proper temperatures, cook menu items with care and presentation, verify deliveries, complete paperwork weekly, and assist the Executive Chef and Food Service Director. Reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients using provided recipes.
• Maintain and record proper temperatures in all hot and cold foods.
• Cook items from the menu with a focus on quality and presentation.
• Clean all food service equipment and accessories including wiping lunchroom tables between lunch periods.
• Complete all applicable paperwork and submit weekly.
• Accept, verify accuracy and properly store all deliveries.
• Punctual, regular and consistent attendance is required.
• Support department at the direction of the Executive Chef and Food Service Director.
• All other duties assigned.
