Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleaning operations and provide direction to custodial staff. The role requires coordination of daily tasks, safety compliance, and effective communication with the team and supervisor.

You will operate cleaning equipment, monitor supplies and inventory, and assist with scheduling and training. The position supports site facilities across multiple locations in Michigan and requires driving to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related custodial experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; ensure acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties according to daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Provide work direction to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist with scheduling and training of staff.
• Maintain supplies and track inventory; assist in purchasing as needed.
• Report incidents, hazards, and PPE usage.
• Drive to various locations as needed for work.
