Job summary

Rainbow Bend Resort in Marathon, FL is seeking a reliable, energetic Breakfast Cook to join our team for a part-time morning shift from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. You will prepare and present high-quality breakfast offerings in a clean, welcoming environment.

You will help maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensure food quality, and work with teammates to deliver friendly guest service and smooth breakfast operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as breakfast cook, line cook, or in a restaurant kitchen is preferred.
• Experience preparing eggs and made-to-order breakfast items is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and food quality.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast items including omelets, eggs, pancakes, waffles, breakfast meats, and other menu offerings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet resort standards.
• Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Set up and break down breakfast stations daily.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries.
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests when interacting in the breakfast area.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth breakfast operations.
