Job summary

Shamin Hotels in Ashland, VA is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to join our Food and Beverage team. This part-time position involves assembling and stocking breakfast buffets, assisting guests, and keeping the buffet area clean and well-supplied.

Responsibilities include inventory, preparing beverages and light foods, and maintaining station standards throughout breakfast hours. Excellent customer service is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Customer Service Skills required.
• Prioritization and time management skills required.
• Must have a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Providing personalized service to all guests
• Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards
• Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day
• Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentration
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
• Preparing and setting up hot food items
• Restocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for the next day
• Washing serving equipment and returning to storage
• Other and all duties, projects, and tasks assigned by management
