Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to support the on-site breakfast program at our Virginia property. You will assemble and replenish the breakfast buffet, greet guests, and coordinate with kitchen staff to keep hot and cold items stocked and neatly presented.

The role emphasizes reliability, basic math and communication, and a commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Customer Service Skills required.
• Prioritization and time management skills required.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Providing personalized service to all guests.
• Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards.
• Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
• Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentration.
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
• Preparing and setting up hot food items.
• Restocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for the next day.
• Washing serving equipment and returning to storage.
• Other and all duties, projects, and tasks assigned by management.
