Job summary

Shamin Hotels in Suffolk, VA seeks a Breakfast Attendant to assist with assembling and disassembling breakfast buffets and keeping the buffet stocked throughout service. You will interact with guests, relay orders when needed, and clear tables in a full-service setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work mornings and handle busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Providing personalized service to all guests.
• Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards.
• Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
• Preparing foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices from concentrate.
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
• Preparing and setting up hot food items.
• Restocking items consistently throughout breakfast hours and for the next day.
• Washing serving equipment and returning to storage.
• Other and all duties, projects, and tasks assigned by management.
