Job summary

PRACTICE is seeking Education Champions to tutor and mentor students, offering a flexible schedule and a meaningful path to growth. This entry-level role focuses on building foundational literacy skills through phonics-based instruction and math, reading, writing, and exam preparation.

You will work 10–35 hours per week, mainly in in-person programs, with competitive pay and opportunities to earn a program completion bonus up to 10% of total program earnings.

Qualifications

• Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Willing to commit 10–35 hours per week.
• Interest in phonics instruction and literacy education.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging learning strategies.

About the Job: We are seeking entry-level educators, tutors, and aspiring teachers with a basic understanding of or interest in phonics instruction. In this role, you will work with foundational reading concepts to help students develop early literacy skills and progress toward fluent, accurate reading.

• Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
