Job summary

Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking a TA Specialist to coach childcare providers toward quality improvements and positive child outcomes. The role includes on-site coaching, using CLASS-based coaching, and supporting improvement plans with data tracking.

Extensive daily travel within Palm Beach County is required. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in a related field with 5+ years in Early Childhood Education and 3+ years in TA/coaching, plus comfort with travel and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Health and Human Services or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education.
At least 3 years of TA, coaching and/or training experience.
Knowledge of the CLASS Assessment tool and coaching (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide on-site coaching and technical assistance to childcare providers and family childcare homes.
Use the CLASS tool and coaching model to help educators set and achieve quality improvement goals.
Assist providers in developing improvement plans using CLASS scores, goals and quality blocks.
Track data for reporting in statewide database/WELS.
Facilitate training in-person or virtually, including evenings and Saturdays.
Travel throughout Palm Beach County to deliver hands-on support.
