Job summary

Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council is seeking a Technical Assistance (TA) Professional to deliver mentoring, coaching, and peer-to-peer TA to preschool/childcare providers in Arapahoe County, Colorado. You will support directors, owners, and teachers to elevate program quality and child outcomes.

The role requires strong training and collaboration skills, comfort with evenings/weekends, and the ability to implement improvement plans aligned with SMARTE goals and state standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or closely related field.
• 2+ years’ experience as a CSQI coach, school administrator or director of a child development center.
• Ability to work in all early childhood care and educational settings across Arapahoe County.
• Knowledge of Colorado Shines, Colorado's Early Learning & Development Guidelines, Colorado Early Childhood Special Education.
• Comfort, ability, and understanding of working evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the consultant for identified centers and support providers in developing and implementing improvement plans based on SMARTE Goals.
• Encourage educators to increase mastery of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Facilitate provider training sessions as needed.
• Provide referral resources for program staff to support families with emotional, behavioral, mental health, and developmental concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Colorado Shines QRIS and the PDIS.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with providers including owners, directors, and teachers.
