Job summary

Northwest Regional Education Service District is seeking a Quality Coach for Early Learning in Tillamook County. The role supports providers to implement Spark standards, deliver coaching, and build inclusive, high-quality early care environments.

Qualified applicants will have a background in ECE, direct preschool experience, and training skills. Oregon-based, bilingual-preferred, with 1.0 FTE and 220 days per year; compensation on the Classified Salary Schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field, or Step 10 on Oregon Registry Online.
• Minimum of two years of direct service in Early Childhood focused on preschool.
• At least two years of experience providing technical assistance and training to early childhood programs.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Current enrollment in the Oregon Registry Central Background Registry, or ability to enroll before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide job-embedded professional learning and technical assistance to ECE providers aligned with Spark and Oregon Core Knowledge.
• Manage Focused Child Care Networks of ECE professionals, per Early Learning Division guidelines.
• Offer reflective, practice-based coaching including one-on-one sessions with educators.
• Participate in inclusion planning to prevent expulsion and suspension in Early Learning.
• Assess environments and teaching practices quarterly and revise coaching goals.
• Coordinate professional development plans and provider recruitment materials.
