Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Georgia is seeking a Director to oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of care and education, and lead staff toward the organization’s vision and goals.

You will manage budgets, ensure licensing compliance, mentor educators, engage families and the community, and drive program development to support children's development. The role requires strong leadership and a collaborative mindset to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership/management role in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of ECE practices, child development, and licensing requirements.
• Experience with budgets, financial planning, and operations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of educators.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all center operations including staff supervision and curriculum development.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
• Manage budgets, resources, and costs to achieve financial sustainability.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures supporting goals and compliance.
• Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a positive work culture and professional growth.
• Establish relationships with parents, staff, and the community.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of staff.
• Implement and assess educational programs to meet children's developmental needs.
• Coordinate communication between stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities.
