Job summary

Centro De La Familia is seeking a Center/Bus Aide to support teachers in the classroom and assist with safe transportation operations, helping children ages 0-5 grow across cognitive, language, and social-emotional domains.

You will partner with the Education Specialist to promote health, safety, and readiness while contributing to a positive, inclusive environment that values bilingual learners and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Entry-level position; enthusiasm for working with children is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Comfortable sitting on the floor, kneeling, and active engagement with children 0–5.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler permits or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Support in the classroom and supervise children under supervision of teachers.
• Assist with playground safety, health, and activity supervision.
• Help with bus pick-ups/drop-offs and transportation-related duties.
• Promote development across physical, social-emotional, language, and cognitive domains.
