Job summary

Centro de la Familia de Utah is hiring a Center Aide to assist in classrooms, supervise playgrounds, and support health, safety, and early learning for young children across locations within our center network. You will collaborate with the Education Specialist, help with transportation, kitchen tasks, family services, and developmental activities.

The role emphasizes safeguarding children, promoting bilingual learning, and fostering inclusive, developmentally appropriate activities for ages 0-5

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Entry-level position; enthusiasm to work with children, including those with special needs and limited English proficiency.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be comfortable with floor activities.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler's permits required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bilingual Spanish and English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and engage children in learning activities.
• Safely supervise children in play and classroom settings.
• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation policies.
• Assist with transportation, kitchen tasks, and family services as needed.
• Support developmental goals across physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and language domains.
• Promote bilingual learning and inclusive practices.
