Job summary

Centro de la Familia seeks a Center Aide Substitute to assist teachers, supervise children, and help maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment. This entry-level role welcomes applicants with enthusiasm for early childhood education and a readiness to work across multiple center locations.

You will support activities, promote health and safety, and collaborate with staff to foster development in young learners while upholding CACFP guidelines and inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Entry-level role; no prior education or experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid/Food Handler permits or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities and supervision of children.
• Ensure a safe playground and environment for learners.
• Assist with health, safety, and readiness of young children.
• Collaborate with teachers to engage children in learning.
• Support other center operations as needed (transportation, kitchen, family services).
