Child Development Schools is seeking a Bus Driver in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, to provide safe, on-time transportation for students and to support classrooms alongside the Lead Teacher. You will participate in hands-on activities and storytime, helping create a welcoming environment where children feel curious and cared for.

You will communicate with families daily, assist with attendance and records, and help maintain a safe bus and classroom environment.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Genuine care for children and a commitment to their safety and well-being.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with families.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of working with young children.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for Before and After School programs.
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication.
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports.
• Maintain a safe Bus environment.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements.
