Child Development Schools in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, seeks an enthusiastic Bus Driver to provide safe transportation for students and to support classrooms alongside Lead Teachers. You will engage children through activities, stories, and daily routines, contributing to a warm, welcoming environment that promotes curiosity and growth.

As a Bus Driver, you will collaborate with families and the teaching team, help with attendance and reports, and ensure a safe bus environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom meeting licensing and ratio requirements
• Provide on-time, safe and reliable transportation for Before and After School programs
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports
• Maintain a safe bus environment

Your role

As a Bus Driver at Child Development Schools, you will support our center by providing safe, reliable transportation for our students to and from school and/or activities. You may also be supporting classrooms, working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands‑on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

You will serve as a trusted partner to families, a positive role model for children, and an important part of our collaborative teaching team dedicated to making early childhood education engaging, nurturing, safe, and fun.

What your day looks like

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements

Pay and benefits

Pay: 14-16 per hour, based on experience and education.
