Ivy Kids - Pearland is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. You will assist with curriculum activities, supervise daily routines, and help monitor developmental progress.

This role emphasizes health and safety, adherence to state licensing standards, and positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Training requirements include ongoing development and clear communication with parents.

Qualifications

• Must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience.
• Must be able to repeatedly bend, stoop and run; must repeatedly lift and carry children up to 50+ pounds.
• Must maintain at least 24 hours of training each year.
• Previous work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing curriculum activities and classroom routines.
• Provide daily communication to parents and maintain records.
• Ensure health, safety, and licensing compliance in the classroom.
