YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids is seeking an Early Learning Assistant Teacher to support planning and delivering classroom activities for preschool programs. The role requires face-to-face leadership in a child-centered setting within the SpartanNash YMCA Child Development Center.

The position offers both full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time options with schedules including mornings, afternoons, and some evenings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or CDA preferred.
• Ability to interact with diverse individuals and care for infants, toddlers, and preschool children.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, and implementing classroom activities.
• Engage actively with children and participate in daily lesson plans.
• Communicate with parents and prepare materials for activities.
• Maintain attendance and arrival/departure records and supervise children.
• Support parent-teacher conferences as needed.
