Qualifications

• Exams/credentials: ParaPro or ParaPathways approved by the Hawaii Department of Education.
• Minimum 48 baccalaureate-level credits including math and English.
• Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safe, engaging learning environments for children.
• Implement and assess learning activities per teacher plans.
• Observe and document children's development and learning.
• Ensure health and safety and assist with routines.
• Prepare materials and learning centers as guided by the teacher.
• Supervise before, during and after class activities.
